PLEASE NOTE THIS ITEM HAS NOW SOLD - DO NOT CLICK AND BUY! I have very similar vintage tallboy wardrobes in stock, as well as the paper. Commissions welcome.
Fabulous 1960s cabinet, solid wood, up-cycled using a super on-trend blush pink and copper geometric print paper, teamed with rose gold paint. Original handles spruced up and utilised!
This lovely decoupaged piece looks effortlessly elegant, and is highly versatile. Can be used for its traditional purpose, as a small dressing room wardrobe with drawers, or style it up in your living room for some extra storage. It features a fab little mirror (also original to the piece) on the inside cabinet and the shelves still bear the original labels: "shirts" "underwear" "ties" etc. FAB!
The paper used has been over-laid with several coats of low shine UVA varnish to enhance the rose gold in the pattern, and provide a hardwearing veneer.
This piece is currently on display at the Sofas & Stuff showroom, Manchester. Feel free to pop down and take a look in the flesh, but please note you cannot purchase this piece in the shop.
